Steel Prop Product Specifications
Our standard adjustable steel props range from 1.6 m to 6.0 m in working height. Each prop consists of an inner tube and an outer tube with a pinned adjustment mechanism that allows rapid height changes on site. Material: high-strength steel (Q235/Q355 available). Accessories: fork heads, base plates, swivel base plates and H-shaped timber beam connectors can be supplied with the props.

Manufacturing & Quality Control
Steel props are produced in our Chinese factories with a controlled production process: cutting, welding, drilling and surface treatment lines are inspected at each stage. Products can be supplied with ISO 9001 and SGS test reports on request. Before shipment, props are sample-checked for height adjustment smoothness, weld quality and zinc coating thickness.

What sizes of steel props do you offer?
Standard steel props range from 1.6 m minimum height to 6.0 m maximum height, with 48 mm inner tube and 60 mm outer tube. Tube thickness ranges from 1.6 mm to 4.0 mm. Custom sizes are available.
What is the load capacity of your steel props?
Load capacity depends on extended height and tube thickness. Tell us your working height and required load, and our engineers will recommend the correct prop size and thickness for your project.

What is the difference between a steel prop and an acrow prop?
Acrow prop is a well-known brand name commonly used to refer to the same type of adjustable steel prop. In practice, “steel prop”, “acrow prop” and “adjustable steel prop” describe the same temporary vertical support product.

What are your lead time, payment terms and quotation validity?
Standard steel prop production and delivery take about 4-6 weeks depending on quantity and surface treatment. Our standard payment terms are T/T 30% deposit with the balance paid before shipment for FOB orders, or against the B/L copy for CIF orders; an irrevocable L/C at sight can also be accepted. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
