Good insulation, and can maintain a certain low temperature requirements
- Jun 26, 2018 -

Reefer container refers to a special container that has good thermal insulation and can maintain a certain low temperature requirement and is suitable for the transportation and storage of various types of perishable foods.

The basic types of refrigerated containers are insulated containers, external refrigerated containers, built-in refrigerated containers, liquid nitrogen and dry ice refrigerated containers, frozen plates and refrigerated containers.

A container designed for transporting frozen cargo or cryogenic cargo that requires a certain temperature. It is divided into a built-in mechanical refrigerated container with a freezer and an external mechanical refrigerated container without a freezer. Suitable for loading meat, fruits and other goods. The refrigerated containers have high cost and high operating costs. Attention should be paid to the technical status of the refrigeration equipment and the required temperature of the goods in the containers.

Refrigerated containers refer to containers that have insulated walls (including end walls and side walls), doors, bottoms, and ceilings, and that block internal and external heat exchange. Refrigerated containers include refrigerant-type refrigerated containers, mechanical refrigerated containers, refrigerated/heated containers, insulated containers, and reconditioned refrigerated containers.

Depleted refrigerated containers refer to various refrigerated containers that do not require external power supply or fuel supply, including water ice refrigerated containers, dry ice refrigerated containers, liquid nitrogen refrigerated containers, liquid air refrigerated containers, liquid carbon refrigerated containers, and cold plate refrigerated containers. Wait. Refrigerant-type refrigerated containers are characterized by no external power supply or fuel supply, no moving parts, and low maintenance requirements during transportation. The main drawback is that continuous cooling cannot be achieved. After the heat release and consumption of the coolant, it must be recharged or replenished. It is difficult to achieve accurate temperature control. The refrigeration equipment occupies a large space. Detergent refrigerated containers are mainly used for short-distance transport of small refrigerated containers. At present, refrigerant-based refrigerated containers are used only in regional short-distance refrigerated transport, but they have not been used in international refrigerated transport and have gradually been eliminated.
